The Solar Eclipse Marathon

On 14 November 2012 as the sun turns black 2,000 runners will set off on the race of a lifetime through the Australian rainforest.

Welcome to the Solar Eclipse Marathon. This one-off event takes place in Port Douglas near the Great Barrier Reef. But it’s so much more than that. There will be great food, trips to the reef and rainforest and the chance to relax and experience a total solar eclipse with thousands of others. Where will you be on 14 November 2012?
